
Our Team

Introduction
- London Mandarin School, the Chinese School in London, was established in 1997 by a group of enthusiastic overseas Chinese volunteers.
- The Chinese school is a not-for-profit organisation. In 2002, the Governing Body formed a registered charity, Our Charity Registered Number is 1096809.
- The Chinese school is open from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm every Sunday during term days.
- The focus of its Chinese language programme is on Mandarin Chinese, simplified Chinese character and Pin Yin system (Chinese phonetic system).
- It now has about 200 pupils aged from 4 to 16 as well as adult students.
As a Chinese school we aim:
- To introduce Chinese tradition and culture and provide educational programmes for children and adults of all ages and all backgrounds.
- To teach students to read and write Chinese and learn the Chinese culture.
- To encourage students to adopt multicultural practices in UK.
- 7 Standard Chinese courses for all levels for school age students
- Pre-school Chinese class
- GCSE and A-level Chinese courses.
- Chinese Class for adults
- Courses on Chinese art and culture, including Chinese dancing and art.
Our Teachers
- All teachers are native Mandarin speakers who can speak English fluently.
- All teachers have graduate or post graduate degrees .
- All teachers have the relevant training and teaching experience .
Finance
- The Chinese school does not have any governmental funding and is funded wholly by minimal level of tuition fees and donations from various sources.
- The financial report is published once a year.
